By now, you've read about how we’re heading towards extinction.

I don’t know about you, but I like living. I like all that humanity has to offer. And I want to give us a fighting chance to save ourselves. Yes, this is existential.

As such, I’ve dedicated my career to helping others succeed in their personal lives, so they can focus on improving the world. I believe if people are healthy, educated, and fulfilled, they are inclined to think about bigger ideas and tackle bigger problems. As the director of a robust entrepreneurship center at a $7B/year tier 1 research university, our vision is to remove as many barriers as possible for young innovators to direct their full attention to solving the huge problems of tomorrow. We live in the most consequential time in human history—in a world that is exponentially changing.

What do you do with your limited time here?

Putting students to sleep is my specialty.

Even if you are completely motivated by self-interest—the best way to get ahead as a species is to help others as much as possible, because the impact and reach of an individual can be infinitely leveraged today. We live in a world that exists because of others. The food you eat, the technology you use, the furniture you’re sitting on—all depend on millennia of inventions and work of others—the collective cultural intelligence of our species. Democratization empowers individuals by lowering barriers. If more people have Maslow’s hierarchy of needs taken care of, they can focus on the self-actualization of their own unique niches, and hopefully, their potential creativity will solve problems that will be useful for all of humankind. Leveraging entrepreneurship isn’t a zero-sum game: infinite wealth creation is possible for all of us in the age of the internet.

Yes, it’s a simple philosophy. Yes, I’m a humanist and a transhumanist. And yes, I believe in humanity, in us, and you. I’ve taught hundreds of entrepreneurs the following intangible skills to thrive in this dynamic world. Entrepreneurial thinking is not optional; it is necessary.

We prepare leaders for the future by focusing on the following trifecta. Each theme is aligned with an archetype, beginning with the prowess and bravery of the warrior, transitioning to the strategic leadership of the monarch, and culminating in the enlightened and philosophical rule of the guru, who seeks the greater good of us all. It’s a nonlinear pathway that you can join at any time.

Optimize Health

(Warrior)

You have to take care of yourself first.

Healthy habits = optimal function. Become the most productive version of yourself.

In the warrior era, we focus on self-mastery. Discipline leads to our own bushido (warrior code) where we master the battle within.

What can you accomplish if you live longer and healthier?

Elevate Thought

(Monarch)

“The quality of your thinking determines the quality of your life.”

- A.R. Bernard

In the king/queen era we focus on thought. After gaining self-mastery, we can now shift to leading others & thought leadership.

What can you accomplish if you lead a team?

  • Learn essential mental models that underpin effective decision-making

  • Discover techniques for prioritization

  • Cultivate a state of flow while minimizing distractions

  • Master strategic thinking to lead

Maximize Life

(Guru)

“It is not that we have a short time to live, but that we waste a lot of it…Life is long if you know how to use it.”

—  Seneca the Younger, Roman philosopher

In the guru era, we focus on giving back and finding your purpose.

What can the world accomplish?

  • Dive deep into the problems of the world

  • Focus your talent & energy

  • Understand where you can make the most impact

Imagine, a transhumanist society where we’ve overcome human limitations. You can work on whatever you want, wherever you want, whenever you want, with whomever you want. Effective altruism will ensure longtermism.

This isn’t utopia. This is the world that will solve climate change, cure aging, and colonize space. I believe in humanity. I believe in us.

I believe in you.
